Feeling your body helps to understand yourself better, and thus understand others better.
Understanding a painful situation without going through the associated physical sensations doesn’t relieve the pain, whilst going through the physical sensations (without necessarily understanding them) brings peace.
How does it work?
The method is based on physical sensations, and neither provides answers nor arguments to our mental questioning of “how” and our already established system of beliefs. It is the individual himself who uncovers his unique way of functioning by feeling and practicing physical exercises. There is no “how” or method that works for everyone. It is necessary to feel, to be in our sensations, that they may reveal associated emotions and understandings.
